The Faculty of Engineering Graduate Research Symposium (FEGRS) 2017 is an annual student-run event that is held on the University of Alberta engineering campus June 27-28, 2017.  It is a conference aimed at providing opportunities for students to present their research, network with industry, and improve their professional development skills.

This year's event will be informative and exciting with five valuable professional development workshops and three high-profile keynote speakers. Graduate students from all the engineering departments will present more that 100 abstracts via oral and poster presentation sessions. Over than 400 attendees are expected to participate.

This symposium is organized by an inter-departmental committee with representatives from Biomedical Engineering, Chemical and Materials Engineering, Civil and Environment Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.
